Sharing Phase

Marketing Your Invention

You will use this phase to create an advertisement for your invention to get other people interested in it. Use these brainstorming questions to map out how you would want to advertise:

1. What do you want people to know about your invention?

2. What are some cool things your invention can do?

3. How much would your invention cost?

4. What is the invention's name?

5. Is there a motto or jingle you can think of (for creativity)?

You will have choices as to how you want to market your invention. You can create:

  • a PowerPoint presentation

  • a Magazine advertisement

  • a Poster

  • a Commercial using video (a script will be needed first)

If You Decided To Build Your Invention...

If you want to compete for the patent and have realistically thought of materials you could use to make your invention, you can build it in school. You will be able to build it in the classroom during lunch, but you will have no adult help. You also must bring your own materials!

Share your invention with kids around the world!
